FUN FACTS ABOUT ME
HALF GRIZZLY BEAR
I was born & raised in Alaska! The wilderness was my backyard! Having a “small town” upbringing very much shaped who I am today.
FAMILY MAN
I am the proud father of four amazing kids — and one fur baby! If I’m not at the studio, it’s all about quality time with the fam!
GUY’S GOT JOKES
I am a goofball! From dad jokes & puns to crazy antics in the studio, I love making my clients laugh and put at ease during their sessions!
A JOURNEY IN SELF-LOVE
I know what you are thinking… a male boudoir photographer?! Trust me, I have heard everything. From “you are a lucky dude!” to “your partner is okay with this?” … I have heard it all.
I am not here to convince you of the benefits of a male vs. female photographer. But I will tell you why I am so passionate about this genre of photography:
Soo… I grew up Mormon. Yep, I was even one of those missionaries who knocked on your door. Crazy, right? My journey in life has taken me to several places, including away from the very conservative “bubble” that I grew up in. Ironically, the uber focus on “modesty & morals” not only objectifies women’s bodies but also reinforces a strict doctrine of gender and sexuality.
This is one of the reasons I am so passionate about supporting women and couples on their journey to becoming stronger and more confident, especially in regard to their bodies, no matter the shape, size, or color.
One of the most rewarding aspects of being a boudoir photographer is witnessing the transformation of my clients in just a couple of hours. They come to the studio with insecurities about their bodies and who they are as individuals. When they leave the studio, those same clients are glowing! They do look beautiful in that bodysuit, they can do that sexy pose…
They are BEAUTIFUL, They are STRONG, they are ENOUGH!

FINDING CONFIDENCE IN YOUR CURVES
All of my clients come into the studio with something about their bodies they don’t love. No one is immune to insecurities about their body, whether you are a size 2 or size 22. The key is to make sure you don’t let those insecurities take over your entire self-perception. It’s why we have trouble accepting compliments or even appreciating what we have. For most clients, this is the first time in their lives they are seeing how they look through someone else’s eye.
Remember — don’t wait to book a boudoir session because you don’t have confidence in yourself. The confidence you seek comes after your session. After you have done the work to challenge the way you think about yourself. It's all too easy to focus on the body we want, but Boudoir helps you love your body now. Your boudoir session is part of your journey to total body acceptance.
Women often find the amazing images of themselves become a motivation to practice more self-care, more self-awareness, and to remind themselves that they deserve everything life has to offer. Life is one size fits all!
